My first blog, “Can Global Warming be used to Bring Down Capitalism”, remarked about organizations that are trying to destroy capitalism and make the nations subservient to the UN using global warming as their vehicle. This is not some half-baked conspiracy theory.
Click here to see a video that provides more detail about what the Great Reset has in store for us. This video, prepared by Glenn Beck, uses the documents the World Economic Forum (WEF) has produced describing their objectives. When you see the prominent people and Corporations that are in league with the WEF, you have to take this as a serious threat.
Another video that frames this threat can be seen by clicking here. It is about a half hour long. At the 5-minute mark, it begins discussing how global warming is used to further their aim of destroying capitalism. I like it because it zeroes in on the people (including George Soros) behind the Great Reset.
The idea of linking global warming and the destruction of capitalism, is not new. Many years ago, it was used by powerful people for that purpose. The following are some quotes by these people:
Kicking Off the U.N.’s Climate Crisis Clamor
“UN Environment Program Executive Director Maurice Strong who organized the first U.N. Earth Climate Summit (1992) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil expressed an underlying priority very candidly: “We may get to the point where the only way of saving the world will be for industrialized civilization to collapse. Isn’t it our responsibility to bring this about?” “It is clear that current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class…involving high meat intake, consumption of large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, ownership of motor vehicles, golf courses, small electric appliances, home and work place air-conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable…A shift is necessary toward lifestyles less geared to environmentally damaging consumption patterns”. (1)
Also speaking at the Rio conference, Deputy Assistant of State Richard Benedick, who then headed the policy divisions of the U.S. State Department, agreed that the Kyoto Protocol should be approved whether it had anything to do with climate change or not: “A global warming treaty must be implemented even if there is no scientific evidence to back up the (enhanced) greenhouse gas effect.” (1)
For those that do not know about the Kyoto Protocol, it failed but the concept was brought back to life as the Paris Agreement.
As Christine Stewart, then Canadian Minister of the Environment, speaking before editors and reporters of the Calgary Herald in 1998, said, “No matter if the science of global warming is all phony…climate change [provides] the greatest opportunity to bring about justice and equality in the world.”(2)
And as IPCC official Ottmar Edenhofer admitted in November 2010, “…one has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. Instead, climate change policy is about how we redistribute de facto the world’s wealth…” (3)
Europe’s climate action commissioner, Connie Hedegaard,“Say that 30 years from now, science came back and said, ‘wow, we were mistaken then now we have some new information, so we think it is something else’.”
In a world with nine billion people, even 10 billion at the middle of this century, where literally billions of global citizens will still have to get out of poverty and enter the consuming middle classes, don’t you think that anyway it makes a lot of sense to get more energy and resource efficient.”
“Let’s say that science, some decades from now, said ‘we were wrong, it was not about climate’, would it not in any case have been good to do many of things you have to do in order to combat climate change?.”(4)
Professor David Shearman, an Assessor for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) 3rd and 4th Assessment Reports
“Government in the future will be based upon (or incorporate, depending on the level of breakdown of civilization) a supreme office of the biosphere. The office will comprise specially trained philosopher/ecologists.”
“These guardians will either rule themselves or advise an authoritarian government of policies based on their ecological training and philosophical sensitivities. These guardians will be specially trained for the task.”(5)
Christiana Figueres, UN Climate Chief
A shocking statement was made by United Nations official Christiana Figueres at a news conference in Brussels. Figueres admitted that the Global Warming conspiracy set by the U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, of which she is the executive secretary, has a goal not of environmental activists to save the world from ecological calamity, but to destroy capitalism. She said very casually:
“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution.” (6)
Al Gore, Former US Vice President In 2009, former Vice President Al Gore touted U.S. cap-and-trade legislation as a method to help bring about “global governance”.
Climate activist & Meteorologist Eric Holthaus
Holthaus has joined other prominent climate campaigners in admitting that climate change activism is not about climate science.(8)
Former Ocasio-Cortez campaign aide Waleed Shahid-Green New Deal Architects of Green New Deal admit it is NOT about the climate: Former Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) campaign aide Waleed Shahid admitted that Ocasio-Cortez’s GND was a “proposal to redistribute wealth and power from the people on top to the people on the bottom.”(9)
AOC’s Chief-Of-Staff Saikat Chakrabarti:
AOC’s Chief-Of-Staff Saikat Chakrabarti: “The interesting thing about the Green New Deal,” he said, “is it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all.” “Do you guys think of it as a climate thing?” “Because we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing.” (9)
Greta Thunberg
Greta Thunberg: “The climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all.”(9)
Greta Thunberg’s advisor, environmentalist George Monbiot
Greta Thunberg’s advisor, environmentalist George Monbiot explained in 2019 that in order to prevent “climate breakdown,” a complete change to our way of life has to occur:
“We’ve got to go straight to the heart of capitalism and overthrow it,” Monbiot explained.(9)
Why anyone believes these charlatans, is beyond me. They have been making predictions for years about the apocalypse that global warming will cause. And they were wrong. More about the predictions in the next posting.
