The climate alarmists tell the public that the sea level is going rise 7 to 15 feet by the end of this century. The crops are going to fail. There will be mass extinctions. The extent of the horrors awaiting us in the future are almost unlimited. The basis for all these catastrophes is the predicted rise in temperature based upon the computer models they have programed. For 
example, the sea level rise is predicated on a rise of temperature in the range of 4 to 7° C or greater by the year 2100. Without the big rise in global temperature, all these supposed disasters will not come to pass.
These computers have been forecasting temperature for many years. How are they doing? If a company had their operations run by these computers, they would be out of business by now. Look at some of the recent revelations. The New American posted “Top Climate Alarmist: Computer Models Wrong, Skeptics Right on “Pause”. From that posting we get this:
“Count on the Fake News media to ignore a huge admission by a Climategate scientist that there has been no measurable global warming over the past 20 years — something he has previously vociferously denied. The admission by Dr. Benjamin Santer, a top global-warming alarmist, should have made headlines — but, of course it didn’t.
Santer was a leading “pause denier,” a climate alarmist who refused to accept the growing scientific consensus — based in this case on solid, verifiable evidence — that global surface temperatures have remained essentially stable for the past two decades, since at least 1998. Yes, despite the non-stop activist screaming and media handwringing about alleged approaching doom from anthropogenic (human-caused) global warming (or AGW), the global satellite datasets show that the gradual temperature rise during the 20th century stopped in the 1990s, right as the AGW bandwagon was kicking into high gear. This has been especially troubling for the alarmists, since they have been claiming that man-made CO2 is responsible for global warming (which isn’t happening), and the “pause” or “hiatus” has been ongoing, coincident with huge new inputs of human-generated CO2 and other greenhouse gases.
Publicly confronted with the data, some of the top AGW propagandists — Michael Mann, Phil Jones, the British Met Office, and The Economist, for example (see here and here) — felt compelled to concede that, indeed, the pause is real. Nevertheless, they warned, the planetary fever would start again, so the fright-peddling and political pressure had to be maintained, in order to guarantee support for the UN’s Paris climate agreement.
Note the last sentence, which I have underlined, shows us that the warmers are saying— yes, we have been wrong for 20 years, but just you wait, sometime soon its going to get really bad. As Yogi Berra would say “Déjà vu, all over again”
So, President Trump has dumped the the 15-person Advisory Committee for the Sustained National Climate Assessment, according to the Washington Post. These are ex-President Obama appointees. The National Climate Assessment is commissioned to assess climate change and report out a long-term plan for the government on global warming. These people are the kind that are willing to disregard actual temperature measurements. They know that the data must be wrong because these computers are soooooo smart, the computers must be right. These are the people that have kept global warming alarmism alive.
Trump has committed to draining the swamp. He just dropped the level a little with this move. There still is a way to go before the job is complete. No other politician has the courage to make these needed changes. Let’s start treating science in an unbiased non-political way. No more avoiding the fact that the basis for the warmers’ alarmism is bogus.
